The showcase event of the year, the A international, will take place in Newport on Saturday July 3rd - venue Tredegar Park. The B international will be in Liverpool on Saturday July 24th, with the youth internationals (U16 and U14) next day, July 25th.

Albion beat Catholics
In another
nail-biting encounter between local rivals Grange Albion and Grange Catholics on Sunday August 16, the Albion came out on top to win the Ted Peterson Cup in front of a sizeable
crowd at Sevenoaks Park. This victory gave Grange Albion the Ted Peterson Cup for the first time
in 35 years. It also meant that the Albion did the double this season having
retained the league title (the famous Dewar Shield).

Welsh baseball has recently been featured in some Britain's most prestigious media outlets, including the letters section of The Times and on Radio 4's flagship Today programme (August 13).
Catholics beat Albion Grange Catholics beat Grange Albion to win a thrilling WBU Bill Barrett Cup final at Sevenoaks Park on Sunday August 9. Catholics' teenage batsman Ashley Parkes was named man of the match.
England v Wales
Wales beat England by 23 runs in Liverpool on July 18 to retain the Gladstone Rose Bowl. Batting first, Wales scored 60 (Mark Johnson 13), before dismissing England for 38 (Robin Kennedy 11). In their second innings, Wales got 61 (Nathan Taylor 15 and Michael Sullivan 10), setting England a target of 84 to win. But England were all out for 61, leaving Wales the winners.
