Grange Albion

Grange Albion Baseball Club owes it existence to a man called Charlie Minchinton.  In 1906, Charlie was a member of the Penarth Road Methodists team.  However, as a number of that team left Charlie formed a new team called ‘Grange Albion’.

St. Peter’s RFC

As the Baseball section is but a part of the St. Peter’s RFC as a whole, its intricate history is interwoven within the History of the Rugby Club. Like most clubs St. Peter’s can boast a number of notable players who have started / played for The Rocks including Des Walsh, whose later fame was with the Albion (see above), but whose playing days started with St. Peter’s where he gained a Schoolboy Cap in 1939.
